3 Sermon Notes
I.
It is time for you to trust that you can sit down. Trust that you did everything you could do; trust that you've said everything that you could say; now let Jesus step in and do the rest. All you have to do is be, and if you would just be, then Jesus could do; if you could just be, then God could do. If you do anything else, it's going to be your hands and your miracle, but if you sit down and let God do it, He's going to do what eyes haven't seen, He's going to do what ears haven't heard, and He's going to do the foolish things of this world that don't even make sense on paper, but He's going to conclude it. God's going to finish this thing. I don't know who started it; maybe it was you or maybe it was them, but you have to accept when you've done everything you can. And when you have done everything that you can do, you have to trust that God's going to do the rest.

Prayer is an awareness that this is bigger than me.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, so I'm going back to the one who spoke the Word so I can fight the word that the enemy spoke with the Word that was here before my enemy was a thought.
This is bigger than me but God is bigger than this.

Our God, if he shows up, more than enough shows up—not barely enough, not just enough, not just meeting the need—he says I will have all that you need plus some. We serve a God of overflow. Until you decide that God is your source, you'll never understand that it's in his nature to give you the overflow.

I.
"I have to be masterful at stepping into who God says I can be, which means I have to step out of who I think I am. There is a perspective for the moment that will keep you in the game when you get afraid. Part of the anxiety about moving into next is the desire to do it right.
Reposition yourself at the intersection of the foreign and the familiar. Most of us stay in the familiar because we are afraid of what’s foreign, and because we are afraid of what’s foreign, we decide not to act in the areas where we are anointed to bring change because we are unsure of what’s on the other side of our familiar." - Larry Brey

II.
"It's not so much about us learning to love our lives as much as it is having the mindset that it's not about what's going to happen; it's trusting that whatever happens is meant to make me better. That means that even though I may not want to face it, even though it may hurt me in the process, my trust is not in life; my trust is in God. If God allows something to show up in my life, it must be here to be a teacher; it must be here to refine me; it must be meaning to teach me something." - Megan Ashley
1 Question
Do you trust God when the flow is slow?
When He gets still, we get busy, and we end up dealing with things we were never meant to even encounter. When God is still, be still and trust that He is God.
