3 Sermon Notes
I.
The Lord is helping your unbelief through what He allows you to see. He’s going to let you see some multi-million dollar deals; He’s going to let you see some families being restored; He’s going to let you see somebody build a family; He’s going to let you see somebody start a marriage; He’s going to let you see someone out of business and write a book. You're going to wonder, 'God, why are you letting me see it?’ and God says, “because I'm helping you build your faith. When I speak it to you I want you to have a reference book of who I Am and what I can do so you can fight that unbelief with a revelation and a testimony.”

I want to learn how to sit in something that's unfinished and still be fulfilled. I want to learn how to be able to say, "I've got something to be happy about even though the job's not finished."
For you to focus on what is unfinished in your life—the unfinished business of your spiritual growth, the underdeveloped areas of your character that still aren't as far along as you wish they were, the unfinished business enterprises that you don't yet know if they're going to turn out good or bad. For you to focus on the unfinished is to diminish the gift of this, this right here, this right now, this breath, this sermon, this moment, this gathering, this praise, this opportunity, this new day, this season, this moment, this person, this relationship, this effort, this breath, this right here.
So, I'm headed somewhere, and I'm excited about it, and I'm working on something, because I'm not complacent, but, O God, teach me to be content while I'm in it.

III.
A lot of times the enemy attacks us, and we survive the attack, but we don’t go back and get the benefits through reflection and healing. We walk around with the trauma of what we’ve been through, but we don’t grow wiser through the wounds.
If you have to go through it, you might as well grow through it. Go back for your benefit, because if you just live your experiences and never reflect on them, you leave a lot of wisdom on the floor. Live with the power of reflection at your disposal. Reflecting on your current circumstances with God's presence as your lens, just in the light of “he was with you, he is with you, and he will be with you.”
Assume in everything that happens in your life that if God didn’t cause it, he will use it.

"You are a story that God is telling of his gospel power, which means that when people meet you, they have an opportunity to meet Jesus." - Travis Greene
1 Question
Where in your life do you feel in between?
You are in between something great that God is working on for you. Thank you for reminding me that I’m in between and that Jesus is here in the in between with me too. The thing you're so stressed about, if God is real, what makes you think He isn't already planning to do something in between? He must be doing something in between.
Until next week,
If you’re taking dinner series city requests, I’d like to add NYC to the list 🙏🏾
