3 Sermon Notes
I.
A lot of times, your comfort zone is what kills you.
If you get comfortable you get complacent. God is never going to design a life for you that doesn't require Him. He's always going to give you something in your life where you feel like, "Oh, I don't deserve this. I'm not worthy of this. I can't do this."
The moment that stops happening, you stop growing. The moment you stop growing, you start dying spiritually.

Control doesn’t make us just control our situations but our Savior too. The reason why you are buckling under the pressure of life is because you are trying to control something you were never meant to; nobody was meant to be in control except God.
We have bought into the lie that we know better than He does. A lot of the problems in life and come from the delusional thinking that you are in control. You don’t have to be in control, just stay close to God.

III.
Some of us take on too much because we lack trust in God's ability to provide. We exhaust ourselves striving beyond what's necessary, fearing He won't come through for us. We take on more than we can handle because we don't know how to rest in His promises.
We often discuss a lack mentality concerning resources, but what about a lack mentality when it comes to God? What happens when you don't trust that He can fulfill multiple roles in your life simultaneously? We must learn to rest in His provisions and believe that tomorrow will be taken care of. To worry is to doubt our ability to trust God with our circumstances.

I.
"You don't have to be convinced to commit to it. I know that sounds controversial, because full surrender to God is thought to be required in order to be used by God. But it doesn't start with full surrender. It starts with you believing that if God is strong and He is in me, then where I am weak He is strong." - Jasmine Siri

II.
"In order to have something that lasts a lifetime, you have to slow down. Sudden decisions are not good decisions. Sudden decisions are made off of emotionalism, and then when the emotion changes and the decision is made, you are left with regret and agony." - Dr. Sarita Lyons
1 Question
Where do you need to start prioritizing God in your life?
God’s peace without God’s priorities is always temporary.
