3 Sermon Notes
I.
The only reason you have fear right now is because you’re being challenged to do something you’ve never done before.
Has God not done enough for you to know that He is God? Don’t let one challenge make you forget all your miracles.

Sometimes you have to shake up your own life to show God that you don’t mind moving in the direction He’s calling you to. You have to respond to the revelation so you can get more.
Your obedience is connected to your next, we sometimes what next but don’t move now. We have to let God see what you do with what He’s already given you to work with.

III.
Sometimes, what we want is not what God wants for us. So, God might let us lose something. This loss isn't to make us sad forever. It's to help us understand that God has a plan. This plan will bring us to a good place. It might not be the way we thought, but when we see what God does, we will say, "God, I didn't know how you would do that. I thought it was impossible. I thought it wouldn't happen for me. But, God, now that I see what you did, it's better than what I wanted."
You have been thinking about who God is. You think God heals, makes a way, and gives what we need. But God is saying, "If you keep believing, what you think will become what you know. I am going to show you in your life that I am who you think I am."

"Sometimes we want God to give us a sword for our enemy but what we really need is to ask God to give us a sword for the thoughts that keep us from laying hold of the word that he has on our lives." - Chris Wesley
1 Question
The blessing is in the letting go. What's something you need to let go of right now?
Until next week,
A private prayer on my 🤎
God knows something about this next stage of your life that you don't, and there's nothing scarier than not knowing. Some of us are drained from things that haven't even happened yet. I'm drained playing out outcomes of what could happen instead of being present enough in the moment to release my need for control.
The truth is, many of us are entering a stage of life we didn't want or feel unprepared to handle. But God promised us that He would never to leave or forsake us. So, God, I create space for your guidance; we invite your presence not just to propel us forward but to heal, comfort, and claim us as your own. We may be broken, touched by hardship, or riddled with wounds, but we are still yours.
