Everything in this week’s newsletter was so on time for me! Especially the first sermon note about having permission to be human, and God wanting us for our humanity. I’ve been feeling a way about needing rest, not having answers and feeling uncertain about instructions He’s given me. But he wants to work with us and on our behalf. He wants our weakness and surrender. It’s one of the parts of His character I’m most in awe of!
Ah, so happy this newsletter resonated with you Martina! Isn't that just such a beautiful concept -- God wants us to be human? He wants us flaw and all, limitations and all, and confused and all because he created us to be that way and it's in *our* weakness He is made strong (2 Corinthians 12:9-11). We have to train our minds to think differently because culture tells us we have to be strong all the time but God invites us to lean into our humanity so He can show up as God in our lives.
