3 Sermon Notes
I.
It is a terrible thing to watch everyone go ahead of you and feel like you’re behind and moving backwards. But the grace of God comes to you to let you know that you’re not late. In order for you to be late, there would’ve had to be something that God did not account for. If something happened in your life that God didn’t account for, then He’s not God, so the fact that God started means that He knows where you’re supposed to be right now.
When God called you, He accounted for traffic. Don’t beat yourself over comparison that has nothing to do with your calling.

You know what the enemy can do, but how often do you wonder what God can do in your situation? Some of us give up because we know the plans of the enemy better than we know the plans of God. We let the enemy move us out of our position when God says if you limit me based off of what you think the enemy can do, you will never see the full potential of what your God can do. Don’t limit Him.

III.
When God calls us to do something that is harder than we anticipated, what we do is we start taking our trust back. "God, I’m not sure you actually said what you said,” so I’m going to start taking my trust back in the middle, not recognizing that God knew it would be hard when He called you; He just trusted that you would have access to His power. So when you start taking your power back in the middle of it getting hard, you’re cutting off your own life line. But your lifeline is still flowing in your direction; it’s on you to get back in position with God.
You have to allow the vulnerability connected with this moment to teach you, to groom you, and to show you who God is.

I.
“The enemy only has 1-2 tricks; he is not the creator; he is going to keep hitting you with the same soft spot. Yes, I'm inadequate; no, I don’t have all that I need; no, I don’t have anything I need, and yet, God still called me anyway. Because God still called me anyway, I’m going to get curious about why God called me, and I’m going to be suspicious as to why I keep getting attacked." - Gia Peppers

1 Question
Does your faith embrace God for who he is or do you just love him because of what he did? Because if you only love him because of what he did what happens when he stops doing it? What happens to your faith when life gets tough?
